So I have 2.5 foot fish tank. (Dont know if they will work)
I am going to be moving into my new house in the summer.
What does i all need to be able to successfully grow hydro in my home?
Is there ways to cover up the smells? Because i heard that sometimes it gets bad.
What can i do to make this work? I'm kinda a noob to the whole growing thing.

My advice, since it sounds like you have some time to plan, read every sticky in the grow section. After you do that then read them again, if you stick around and read as much as possible you will learn a lot, I know I have. Good luck!

take his advice. you dont want to fuck up the first time and be disappointed. trust me. Spend time and money on set up. Plan everything out. start saving up for an HPS light. read read read

If your paranoid about smell than don't even bother to grow. Being paranoid about it is the worst situation you can put yourself in, then it becomes a hassle not a good time.

your going to want to invest in an hps light, at least 400w. a fish tank is not the greatest idea, it is best to use a dark colored container to prevent algae. estimated cost for a two to four plant setup. 325-400$$
