My first grow log and first post. I have a 10 day old plant just getting light and water for now. Advice on nutrients would be greatly appreciated. I try to have it on 12/12 for light and water once a day.
The grow started with about 15 tiny plants that never grew more than an inch. I only got seed to grow larger than the others, it was from a different bag also.
I am desparate for advise on pot size, nutrients, and light( I only have a 75 watt right now). Thank you

I'm no expert by far but I'll point out some things I see wrong first of all.
12/12.. you really need to be on 18/6 or 24/7. 12/12 is for flowering. Your seedling needs some light to grow upwards for at least the next 3-4 weeks.
Watering everyday? You should not be doing this, you want your soil to be moist, dry out for about the first 1/2" of soil and then water again. Typically this should be every other day at the earliest.
1 75 watt light? I didn't know they made a CFL equivelant. Really you want 2 lights for every plant minimum. You said you had 15 plants but only 1 light. This is another problem right here. I would suggest getting 2 preferably 4 6500K color temperature CFL's.
I don't see any fans in there.. get a gently breeze to help the seedling strengthen up. Nothing too strong, just nice and gentle at first.
It seems the best thing you could be doing right now is read read read.
I speak from expierence, I killed so many plants and had no idea what I was doing until I got a few things straight.
For me it was watering, PH, and proper soil. The more I learned the better my growth became.
Just read alot, and if you have a question use the search function before posting a new thread. Often times the question you have has already been asked, although some things don't show up in searches easily.
Good luck.

Also your light looks pretty far away. I'd say 6" or so. You want to keep CFL's withing 2-4" of the top of your plant.

Cannabis FAQs / FAQ , Recipes, Medical Marijuana (http://cannabis.com/growing/index.html) That is the growing FAQ, which will answer most of ur questions, it is a library of good shit.
U have to turn ur lights to 18/6 ASAP, or ur tiny plant will start to bloom, and u want it much bigger b4 it does that. Lights could be moved a bit closer and u could get a couple more. U can get 2 or 3 packs anywhere for decently cheap, get ones that say blue spectrum or daylight. these are good for veg. Yellowish redish light is good for blooming,
Pot size: For veg i use 2 gallon pots, then transplant to 5 gallons for blooming. U could go a 5 gallon tho for the whole life of the plant, might make things a little easier and u would only have to transplant once. Also before u transplant, u will want to get some "perlite." they are small white pellet light things. Mix about 3 parts soil to 2 parts perlite for a good mixture. This helps to get air to ur roots and to help get good drainage, both very very important.
Nutes: U wont need any of these untill ur plants are transplanted a wee bit bigger, i try to wait untill i see 3-fingered leaves or bigger, usually about 2 weeks. When u decide to go shopping u will want to buy some stuff online, or from a hydroponic/indoor gardening center. I would suggest buying a liquid 3-part, which consists of a fert. for vegitating plants, a fert for flowering plants, then a fert u will use the whole time to supply all the micro nutrients u need. All of these ferts will have what is called "N-P-K" listed on the bottle, which is the ratio of nitrogen-phosforus-potassium. For veg u will want higher N, my veg fert is 6-4-4. Bloom calls for lower N and higher p and K. Mine is 2-8-4.
U know how to reach me if u got anyurgent questions that cannot wait.
Watering: Slow ur waterings down, u should have to water only once every other day at the most. I water mine then wait 2 days, the if the soil looks good and dried i will water again on the third day. I also water each pot until all the soild is wet and some water is running out of the bottom. That is y u cut those wholes so that water doesnt sit down there at the bottom and start growing mold and nasty shit that will kill ur plant.
Besides all that urplant looks pretty healthy and like it loving life.
U know where to find me if u got any Q:'s
PS - beware of what some people will tell u, if u are unsure of their advice wait for a couple more people to comment and make an educated decision. There are some extremely knowledgable people here (stinkyattic, oppie yutts) just to name a few, but also many people that basically expell shit from their mouths and nothing they say should be taken seriously. If ur unsure u got my number.

Thank you daihashi and cwesto. I am now looking for more lights and a new grow space that will restrict light during the 6 hours of darkness.
Are there any good ways to transport to a larger pot? And I am also going away for spring break on friday for a week and dont really know what I should do about light and water. I was thinking of a timer and water dripper. Any suggestions?
Thanks

damn i wish i had known to mix my soil with perlite... but yah timer and drip system will probably work. i'd test it out so you know how much to drip over the week.

If u have any trusted peeps that live by u.... family member, friend, roomate u could possibly trust them to water it if u showed them how much water to use. I dont know how many of ur people would be going on break w/ u.
As for the lights, u should get a timer. Even when u arent on break u can use the timer to turn the lights on and off auto style. Its pretty bad having to turn the light on and off everyday manually. Go to home depot or lowes, get a timer for 10$, they plug right into ur wall socket
