This is not my first grow, but hopefully this will be my first succesful grow. My friend cmasfca posted his grow log on here and he had great reuslts so i am hoping for the same.

p.s. A little birdie told me that i can't post pics until i have at least a 50 post count so i will be keeping the post short and abundant so i can show all of you pics sooner.

I officially started this journey with a long drive to pick up these clones on 02/22
-2 Granddaddy Purple
-1 God's Gift

The clones were started in little green artificial cubes (I think its called Rockwool)

Put the clones into my hydro system
-hydroton grow medium

I'm using a 400w MH for the grow period and a 400w HPS for flowering

I set PH at 5.6 and I am using a tds meter to measure the ppm, which is set at 700
-I am using tap water at 130 ppm so the total ppm is right around 830

I got my grow cab from: 4eversun.com
I am using this system: 4eversun.com/caddy.htm

I think I included all of the info for my grow so far.

Veg. Day #5
02/26/08

water temp-78F
air temp-83F
room humidity-39%
ppm-700
PH-5.7

I am checking nutrients and all other variables at least three times daily. Yesterday I put a new 8" air stone in the bottom of my resevoir and I can already notice a difference in the clones.

How long should i keep the ppm at 700?

When I raise the concentration of nutrients what ppm should i set it at?

Is my PH at the right level for Granddaddy Purp and God's Gift?

I am using General Hydroponic's nutrients right now, its called Flora Nova Grow. Has anyone else used these nutrients and were you satisfied with your results?

Am I missing anything that I should know about?

Check the paper clip lookin icon when posting message for attaching pics. Or use imageshack, photobucket etc.

As a fellow noobie hydro grower I'll be watching this log with interest. What was the price for the 4eversun caddy system? In all it seems you have everything you need for a great grow. Good luck!

Thanks... Ill try to attach the pictures when I get home from school.

The 4eversun grow shed was about $1800 but it was all inclusive and it seemed worth the price, I guess time will tell if thats true.

I think if you keep your ph between 5.5 and 6 you should be ok.

I am using GH nutrients aswell, but I have One Part Total Gro and One Part Total Bloom. Do you have FloraBloom and FloraMicro nutes with that FloraGro? My friend uses GHE Flora tripack for his hydro grow and the results have been really good. Do you have any extra nutrients like Diamond Nectar etc. Also do you have any co2 source? I use co2 tablets which have added mg.

air temp-85F
room humidity-42%
ppm-750
PH-5.6

Thats been the range I have been tryin to keep the PH in so hopefully it works out for me.

As of right now I am only using Flora Nova grow, I have not experimented with any other nutrients

How do you like the CO2 tablets? What kind of yields did you have with them, were they significantly larger? Im assuming that the tablets stay in the resevoir, how fast do they dissolve, how big are they, and about how much do they cost?

Well its my first grow so I dont know how much the tabs help. They produce co2 and have mg in them so they should help to get better results. The tablets dissolve in to water in seconds, kind of like effervescent tablets. I paid 15â?¬ for 60 tablets and one tablet is good for 100liters of water so they are pretty economical. I have used a half of one tablet so far :)

Post some pics of your plants when you can, I would like to see how your plants are growing.

Thanks for the info! My hydro guy seems pretty knowledgeable, I'll ask him for his opinion as well.

What does eveyone else think about these tablets?

HAPPY GROWING!!!

What strains do they have up in Sf? Here in Santa Barbara all the clubs stopped selling clones when the dea sent out the letters to all the landlords and clubs. Actually 3-4 shut down completely. There's one guy locally that advertises clones on craigslist, but doesn't have any strains I wanted. But if they're a lot up in SF I wouldn't mind making the drive...I'd like to get some chemdawg, headband, Diesel clones if possible...
