So I started smoking pot when i was 16 and quit when i was 18 and I only smoked about a bowl a day if even that. I was never going to skateboard high all the time so i gave up weed for a sport i love. Well as it happens 6-8 months back I tried to grind a handrail and landed on the end kink of it right on the lower back. Ever since i havn't been able to skate get a job or do anythink without extreme pain in my lower back so i Ebay and play video games to make a living i'm about to see a docter sometime within the next few weeks. I smoked some weed a couple weeks back and the pain was greatly reduced. I live in colorado and pills like vikodin and over the counter stuff doesn't work for me so is there any way for me to become a medical mariuana patient? Plz comment if you have any thoughts at all. I'm NOT a pot head i just found something that works and i will smoke and grow cannabis but if possible i don't wanna break laws and go to jail for medicating myself

here's where you can read about colorado marijuana laws - Colorado - NORML (http://www.norml.org/index.cfm?wtm_view=&Group_ID=4526)
colorado has medical marijuana laws enacted so you're in luck ;)
personally, i use sativas for my own lower back pains. does wonders, way better than vicodin or anything like that.

Pot is really good for pain managment. Taking a vicodin helps but it is a nasty drug to take every day. Colorado has mmj so you are in luck now all you have to do is look for a recomendation.
