I got a little (or a lot) of a surprise when I bought my usual 1/8th yesterday...

So I usually get my weekly 1/8th every thursday. So I go and meet up with my guy and he hands me my goods and I give him the usual 25 bucks. I didn't really look in the bag because I trust the man. All is good.

So I get home and I'm watching some t.v. and I realize it's time to load up the bowl and smoke. I take out the zip-lock baggie and to my surprise it's HUGE! At least an ounce was there. So I open the bag and when I do this musky, fantastic smell comes out. It's sour diesal by the way :)



Long story short, he gave me an ounce instead of an 1/8th. :thumbsup:

nah fircrackers are good but cann butter is da shiznit. I got a small 4 quart crock pot from walmart a while back its perfect. it was like 10 bucks. All I do is put herb in some melted butter and about 2 table spoons of water and leave it for 8 hours or so. I stir evey hour or so and damn it is da shit. I eat one dose or one brownie and I am set for about 8 hours. If you smoke a bowl after the effects of the eatable kick in it is a whole new level. Like smokin hash for the first time, or smokin hash if you dont smoke hash that much.

For pricing weed, there are many factors involved such as cost of living, risks, etc. In NYC, it's not uncommon to pay $65 - $75 for 1/8 oz. of good stuff. I've heard of delivery services charging 95 an eighth. People generally earn higher salaries and are used to paying a premium for quality, service and convenience.

In less urban areas, where the wages are lower and the cost of living is less, weed is usually cheaper as well. I'm not willing to move just to save a few bucks on the small amounts of pot that I purchase. It's not even worth it for me to grow it, because I don't need as much as I used to. I'm more than satisfied with one to two ounces of good stuff a year.

Dealers HAVE been known to put the clear ziplock bags containing weed in brown paper bags, before handing it over to their customers in public places. I've gotten the wrong amounts this way (usually less), and had to straighten it out with them later.
