Gooday all, bit of noob so go easy.
I have recently rescued two poor looking "tomato??" cuttings from a friend and decided to use them as an experimental 1st grow, i have managed to perk them up and they have been steady for about a week under 18/6, the roots developed well and are now in soil under 250hps in closet.
Not sure when cut but guess at around 3 weeks, they are 6-7" tall.
Im currently struggling with humidity during day and cant get it above 30%, when dark it is 50-60, i have tried a few towels and bowls of water but no luck.
Also not too sure when to start adding veg nutes if at all and what point to switch to 12/12. I have canna terra veg/flower and pk for later on.
I want to keep it as simple as poss and would be happy to produce anything.
Any advice appreciated, :)cheers

1) moisture: you dont seem too badly off, but heres a tip: take a spraybottle of water and just mist into the air about a cup worth of water once or twice a day, thatll bump it up pretty fast.
2)nutrients: they sound big and healthy enough to begin being fed a dilute solution at the least. but remember: overfeeding causes more problems then underfeeding, so dont overdo it.
3) light: you say you have a 250w hps lamp. that is very good, and perfect for 2-4 plants. however, hps light is not ideal for vegetative growth. look into buying 30$ or so of DAYLIGHT/COOL WHITE CFL bulbs and wiring at home depot. if you can get about 150w of cfl (600 equivelent), it should be more than enough until you start flowering with the hps.

Tried the spray bottle and has helped alot, is it ok when at work the humidity drops to 20% for about 8 hrs or will this harm my babies. If so i was thinking of making an automatic sprayer for this time.
I have been and bought a 150mh for veg as i was able to get one dirt cheap sort of guessing it does same job as cfl.
When should i be looking to start flowering, i found out this is the 19th day from being cut.
Hennessy1414 not sure what u mean, i thought i needed humidity at about 50 for best results, please correct me if im wrong tho as my setup is pretty much guessed upto now with no advice, so glad i found this site. ~Peace~

Plugging a humidifier into it's own independent timer might be a good idea. Should be pretty easy to regulate the RH that way. Try not to let the mist fall directly on anything electronic, and definitely make sure it doesn't saturate the light.

50% humidity is fine. I like to keep it in the 40s during flowering to prevent mold, but that's just me. There's a lot of helpful tips in the FAQs (http://cannabis.com/growing/index.html) section, but it sounds like you're on the right track so far.
Good luck with your grow!

1) humidity that low wont do harm, its just 50-70% is what it likes best. itll cause the plant to go through much more water everyday, and you must use less nutrients at each feeding because of that.
2) MH will beat cfls easily. i just say cfls cuz theyre dirt cheap and easy to ghetto-rig
3) flowering can begin when the plant shows its preflowers (white hairs at nodes, however not all plats will preflower), and is usually done when the plant is 12-16 inches tall, since it will 2-3X its size flowering.
4) in veg, humidity should be around 50-70%, possibly higher. however, you want it at 40-50% in flowering, or you may run a risk of bud rot.
