so last week i got a DWI because i got pulled over for my headlight being out, now i know that i was dumb for doing this but its a long story....

anyway, i have since stopped smoking and i have noticed i have been coughing a lot and coughing up a lot of shit, and i just wanna know if this is normal??

like are my lungs just tryin to clear out or what??

and i couldnt find a medical spot for this so thas why i put it here..

A little bit is normal. It happens to me if I don't smoke cigarettes for a few days. I should quit. I'll try again tomorrow. Anyway. Back to your question.

It's really unpleasant but it'll go away eventually.

If you're still having trouble in a week or if it gets really bad (or if you see any black or red bloody colors) then go to the doctor.

It might be from quitting but it also could be from something else so just watch it and see how it goes.
