Don't know much about the strain, but it's possible there's a phenotype that carries similar traits but not the purple trait..genetics is a funny thing...but if you got it from a caregiver I'm sure it's what he said it was..

purple is not just a color, but also a taste. i have had some that clearly has the skunky-purple smell, but no indication of any purple color.

i got some purple yesterday, 'purple urkle' but who knows for real, but any ways its got half greeish buds and some purplish buds. its some strong purp too! it kicked my ass pretty hard ;)

Just because it has darker shades doesn't mean it's better than forest or lime green bud.

Give me a sweet-fruity-musky haze any day over a purple colored bud.
