just a noob question
can i use steel containers?
im thinking not but i thought i would ask first.

um, why?

cut the top off of a 2 or 3 liter soda bottle. 8 of those would be perfect for a nice Sea of Green (SOG) under your 150w HPS.

Metal, exposed to fertilizer solution, corrodes and releases metal oxides into your soil. These lock out, or interfere with, your other nutes.
Use PLASTIC pots for your plants.

ahhh i thought so
my buddy told me to cut milk jugs in half and use those
so i am trying that. i started from seed in quart paint cups,im a custom painter so they were readily available hehehehe.time to move up to the next size. thanks for the info .ill add some pics here in a lil bit just got the kid a new digital camera and two days later its time for batteries.
