Ok so I just chopped down 3 plants that were in a scrog for 6 weeks then taken out and flushed for 2 weeks. They are hanging to dry right now but I'd say about 4 oz per plant. I thought the buds might be a little thicker because I used 1000 watt hps and supplementary 400 watt MH and 8 4 foot flourescents on the sides. I'd say the buds are golfball width for the biggest ones and then smaller.

The strain was Northern Lights and 1 Kahuna.

I am just wondering if I could yield more with a different fertilizer maybe? Does different kinds of fertilizer make a BIG difference in yield potential?

I am using G.E.T technologies 3 part A, B, and powerthrive. I added monster bloom in week 4,5,6 I am wondering if I will get bigger yields if I switch fertilizers.

I did fert burn them in veg and heat burn them in flowering but still I want to know if FERTILIZER could be an issue.

HELP THANKS!!

You can definitely get bigger yields with certain supplements, but you can also do a lot of damage if you don't use them right. I just simplified my current grow to base nutes only because I think I was trying to use too many supplements. I'd say get the base nutes right and then try to supplement so you will have some kind of base to know if what you are doing is good or bad.

Yes you can. You can also yield less.

Yes, but it's not such a huge deal as most people think. Nearly any fertilizer brand you pick off the shelf will grow buds for you. Of course some are better than others, that's why I'm experimenting. I was using mainly Fox Farm stuff, my last grow was SuperNatural stuff, this coming grow is all Dutch Master. It will be the first time I stick to a manufacturer recommended schedule, additives, supplements, inoculates and all. I've tried the cheap way and the medium way, next is the expensive way (somewhat; more than many, less than some.) Previous results have been satisfactory for me, but I'm looking for something more toward the outstanding level.
