ok so recently my landlord shut off the lighting to my house to check a broken socket in another room.(Dont worry about him i keep my grow locked up tight!) he shut off the lights for about 2 minutes off and then back on for another 2 minutes then off for two minutes and then back on again. everything is all fine and good with the lights but what I'm wondering is will this hermie my plant!

-vegging for about 5 months now :rastasmoke:

No.
It shouldn't herm your plant.
Extra dark happens in nature and will not hurt the plant unless it is already super stressed.
Extra LIGHT is what you need to worry about.

1000 watts on one plant is excellent!:D
I mean lights coming on during the 'night' period is what you need to worry about, not lights going off during the 'day'.

ok man. hey if im growing in a closet and right at the top of the closet theres a crack where a snippet of light enters(my grow room is made out of mylar) and it doesn't hit the plants directly but the light still leaks through can that damage my crop?

It can.
But that doesn't necessarily mean it will.
Be safe. close the leak.
