Lots of lumens is key here and keep the lights very close to the plants.
High powered CLFs may perhaps be ideal for this, or envirolights I have heard can be kept close.
You will def want a plant with naturally bushy genetics, a pure indica.
LST or LSTTT or topping, fimming, etc are all possible solutions.

This is an outdoor growing forum I don't think he'll be using lights
i'm in the same boat for this spring. i've ordered some seeds, satori, hashbery and 'safarai mix' but I am hoping that my plants can stay small.
i'm planning on LST, I'm not so sure on what topping is (yet), but one idea is to utilize large bucks that are big enough to get the plant to a comfortable size but also keep it thriving. I'm considering planting in 5 gallon buckets to keep them as small as needed.

Would different LED lights be able to do this? I mean, I have green, purple, red, orange, white LED lights, would maybe a red LED have a different effect on the plant?
