Trainwreck is a very nice sativa. Very clean head high for me, doesn't make me tired and groggy either. My favorite by far as well.

Pure Power Plant (South African sativa IBL).
Easy to grow, good yield and flavor, effective to relieve the symptoms of MS.

SourD isn't a pure sativa. It's a cross of Chemdawg x Mass Super Skunk.
Chemdawg herself was a bagseed actually and her true heritage remains a mystery.
Beware imitators; the true East Coast Sour Diesel is clone-only.

Super Haze is my favorite. However my last grow was pure power plant and it was amazing, the yield was huge and the quality was top notch.

I once a had a very potent african sativa,called Swazi Sativa.
I was told it had alwayd been inbred,and was near or pure Sativa.

Super Silver Haze is nice too, haven't seen bling for over a year now though, my sativa pedigree is a little lacking, I almost exclusively stick with the good ol' standby, pure, OG Kush!
To me sativa seem to not stay with me for more than an hour and before I know it I am accidentally sober again.:jointsmile:
Green Crack is good too, don't know the genetics though, I think it's a sativa or hybrid? Maui Wowie is pretty decent too, more important than the strain is the thumb of the grower I think. You could have the very best strain but in the hands of a novice it won't amount to much.

I had some Willie Nelson a friend of mine grew it was mind blowing, the plant was 10 feet tall! I'm told it was named after Willie because when he tried some he bought the whole crop!

Tried some Maui from a local dispensary. Nice flavor and a very happy - smiley high. Also great for pain relief in my lower back. Nice high and still somewhat functional. Somewhat.......... :bonghit: I mean, I WAS able to make it from the couch to the bedroom - but would not have tried to go any further without a wheelchair. :D Holy Hawg Leg!!! I like this one a lot!!

Also tried some indoor grown Sour Diesel and wasn't all that impressed. It's a good one, but I've had WAY better. Not bad for pain relief, but was a downer high and made me groggy. HORRIBLE munchies too.

I like the kind of Sativa Willie Nelson smokes. I never had any but it sure sounds good from all the songs which have been wrote about it. I might snag a few beans for that if I can figure what is the name of it again. They say when the IRS come to haul off all his stuff he just took a big puff and held it.

I love to indulge in Blueberry w/ my morning java & then I feel like doing things instead of just vegging out. Sour Diesel is perfect for evenings, when it doesn't matter if I walk sideways. I'm not that crazy about AK47 or Maui for some reason &/or any of the strains that have much indica in them because I seem to have an allergic reaction where my nose gets all stuffed up & I have trouble breathing. I have never tried Trainwreck & really want to!

I really look forward to the results of my hubby's patch in the closet--he's got a Crystal Chunk that is now his favorite plant. (Along w/ SK1, Sour D & Northern Lights #5) He nicknamed it "YumYum" because kitty somehow got in the closet ONE minute it was left open & unattended & he chomped off a huge bite. He was ready to make a *microwave kitty* until the plant went crazy a couple of weeks later & has many more heads on it now than any of his other plants. It's the biggest baddest plant he has so far.

I know this is an old thread but I am still going through them, reading them, learning & savoring them and just had to add my two cents worth. :hippy:

I grow for myself so heavy yield isn't so important. However taste, aroma and effect are. I grow SC pretty often,(good producer.) I also have been growing my favorite weed, Original Flo. The yields are a little light, but the effect is wonderfull. No anxiety or paranoia. A nice UP high with mellow overtones. Truly a conneseur smoke.

I really love thai-influenced sativas or anything with Haze in it but just bought a pack of Moroccan Landrace from ultimateseeds. I hope they will be as good as the moroccan hash that I got in A'dam :rasta:

working threw many now, id have ta give it to PURPLE LADY, im not sure if its very pure, but she is quicker then most, the taste and smell are very strong and unique, kinda like a lady. she has never turned purple while in grow or bloom but does have a hew after 30 days of cure...... now there is a few close seconds, one being the PURE POWER PLANT, i had it, let it grow out with no cutts and and ending up liking it and having a lot of demand for it with our clientele, i put it back on the roster and will have it again soon... then our most resent sativa the SUPER SILVER SOUR DIESEL HAZE, ive not smoked alot yet (first harvest for her) but the couple times i have i sure got giggly, my head Gardner said the same of it..... HHB

Lots of great strains listed. I've not tried them all. Acapulco Gold is great tasting, kick-ass pot. Neville's Haze from Mr. Nice Seeds is my favorite as far as what I've been able to grow recently. Thick, frankincense odor, spicy taste and hard hitting head buzz.

A nice MNS Neville's Haze at 11 weeks, it went another 2-3 weeks.
