I've attached some pics for further analysis. The pics are a few days old. It has gotten a bit worse as more leaves have yellowed and developed brown spots. Can someone tell me if I should be worried and is there something I can do to stop it?

Here's the break down:

-indoor or outdoor INDOOR
-soil, soilless, or hydroponic HYDROPONICS
-specific medium PERLITE/VERMICULITE MIX IN 8oz SOLO CUPS
-Soil type/brand N/A
-Hydro/aero/soilless system type RON'S HYDRO GARDEN (EBB N FLOW)
-Anything you have added to the soil N/A
-Soil pH
-Water source TAP WATER
-Water pH MAINTAINED 5.5 TO 6.0
-Age of plant 5 1/2 WEEKS INTO FLOWERING
-Type of fertilizer BOANICARE BLOOM FORMULA
-Rate of application AS PER INSTRUCTIONS 15ML PER GALLON
-Lighting source and distance from plant 8" FROM TOPS FLORO/CFL COMBO
-Temperature (both day and night if you are running a dark period) 70/65
-% Relative humidity 50 TO 60%
-Lighting schedule 12/12
-Type of ventilation your room has MULTI OSCILLATING FANS

first, flourescent lights are great because of thier ability to be within 2-3 inches of the plant. you may consider moving em in to get more enerergy.

however, your problem is most likely ph or nutrient related. and since the ph seems pretty low, it may be that.

im 90% sure that you want a ph of 6.3-6.8, and yours may be mildly acidic for the plants liking.

whoops, i was wrong. maybe the 6.3-6.8 is in soil or something.

just saw that hydro setups reccoment 5.6-6.2ph, which seems what you have. however, id still consider bumping it up to about a 6 or so, since 5.5 is relatively acidic.

Ae you running botanicare bloom hydro formula?
Sounds like Ca def to me actually but the weird colors often appear in many strains. I'm basing the Ca on yellow low leaves with brown spotting.
Yeah, I would also stick your pH at about 6.0 just so any fluctuations don't bring it out of range.

Hello smokers and tokers

little bit of information for all on ph and nute uptake. :rasta:

Yea Stinky, I'm using Pure Blend Pro for Hydro. I actually just started it about a week or two ago. That's what really has me tripping. However, I have 2 strains from different bagseed and the differences are quite obvious. One group is a nice dark green while the others are giving me the colors. Anyway, March 1st is the due date so... either way I'm smoking it!!!

Colors are common in some lines. My Toxic Lemon, FoxyFuel, and Jillybean give me stunning displays on every harvest. You may get maroon undersides to the bud leaves, in which case, when you trim them, leave them just a little longer than noirmal and hang upside down to dry- the colors will really make the bud look lovely, and the leaves wil protect it from losing crystals whilst in the jar.

great info. gives a reason to why you should monitor your ph.

I gotta admit, they do look quite nice. Thanks for putting my mind at ease. I'm looking forward to what looks like a nice yield.
