Howdy SIRUS,

Please define 'bud tea'...are ya talkin about a manure tea or a brand of fertilizer ?

i mean like you just boil some water and through in some bud and just wait for it too cool down and feed it to the plant... cuz it drains out the THC out of the bud that you put and is all around the water...

Howdy SIRUS,

Nope...that won't work, nutrients need to be composted or in a form that plants can absorb.

If you want some 'tea',I suggest making manure tea,out of composted manure, bat guano,is an excellent manure for making a tea out of,that you can feed your plants. Worm castings are just as good-if not better, when made into a tea.

Have a good one...:)

sounds like a waiste of some perfectly good weed.

what is this supposed to do for it?

maybe its just too early

but i dont think thc soluble in water, and at high temps it is destroyed so i dont see how any good can come from it,

now if you want Red bud add food color,,,,,,yea that sounds like it will work,

peace

THC is not water soluble. Bong water contains a suspension of THC and other canabinoids rather than a solution, what this means is the THC is really just floating around in the water, but not dissolved. You can mix anything into water, but it will not necessicarily dissolve and make a solution, non dissolved matter in a liquid is called a suspension, like if you put flour into water it will mix in, but given time it will settle to the bottom or rise to the top - this is a suspension. If you did the same with sugar and water it would not separate - this is a solution.

With that said, The bud tea will not help the plant. But I understand what you are thinking. Torog has the best advice on this thread with the guano/manure tea, I prefer the guano, I think it makes the bud taste better.

Good luck to you

L0rdsOth :DYes, organic nutrients produce better tasting buds than synthetic nutrients.

When I mentioned bong water it was just to point out that if THC was water soluble it would be an awful waste of weed to use one. :D
I am not suggesting that anyone use bong water as a fert.
