hello there. i am going to start looking for a new job soon and with that may come a drug test. i will try to avoid ones with tests, but if the job opportunity is right ill quit smoking. anyhow. i run probably 10-15 miles a week. i have for awhile now. i also smoke probably 5-10 times a week. so i am wondering how big a difference does the running make. i know normally with the amount i smoke it takes 30 days of sobriety avg to leave the system. so is this running really making a difference, anyone have any idea how long they may think it would take it to leave my system, preferably fakeboobsrule the resident expert.
oh yeah im a 150 pound 5'9 male.

also one other thing. the job i have now has random drug testing. there are hundreds of employees so im not that concerned at all about getting picked, but it is a slim possibilty. im not going to quit smoking for that, but they are saliva tests and people have been telling me mouthwash will make it so you read clean on a saliva test. is this true? thanks

ps i have been searching the forums on the saliva thing and have yet to find a clear response on it. so please refrain from putting search as a response. if that really happened on a regular basis there would be a total of five threads on the forum and i wouldnt need to do any searching

I don't know so much about the saliva thing, but I remember that running increases metabolism by somewhere around 2000%; this in turn burns more fat and removes THC metabolites from lipid cells into the bloodstream. If you aren't extremely lazy like myself I highly suggest running. It can't hurt, after all.

Thanks Suhl.

Don't waste your money on the mouthwash. Some saliva tests can go back about 96 max but most go back 24-48 hours. You will have more than that clean so no worries.

Aerobic exercise helps out a lot, how much I don't know. You look like you smoke less than twice a day and you are lean and exercise a lot. I would say you probably will take less than 30 days (your smoking history is actually kind of light unless you are smoking a 1/4 each time you get high) but anything's possible. Buy a few cheap strips on line if you don't plan to sub.

will do. thanks a lot fbr. yeah i usually buy a qtr a week and smoke it til its gone which takes 3-5 days. then i smoke most days at work. so it is probably 1-2 times a day with a day or two of total abstaining per week. thanks for the tip on the mouthwash. even though i already use it in the morning i wont waste my time using it before work now. have a good one.
