Just changed from soil to hydro and I'm now growing in huts. What effects on plants if they don't get fresh air?

Of Course fresh air from outside set up through a venting system would be ideal but many of us dont have the luxury of this kind of set up due to location of growing within the house and or drilling duct holes through the roof or side of the house. Just make sure that you have a fan circulating air around the ladies 24/7. I put a fan parallel with my HPS to reduce the heat coming down because I dont have a cool tube so it serves 2 purposes keeping heat down as well as circulating air and my grows have been great. Of course you mentioned your in a hut so the heat might be more a factor where as I have a more open space so at any rate just make sure you have a fan going in the hut.

Crispis right. What kind of hut are you in? A hydrohut? If so then you're gonna need so much air to dispell the heat that you won't have to worry about your question.

I was told the hydro huts suck so I purchased a habitat. Have a fedders A/C inside my veggie hut so I don't have a problem with heat. My clone hut has a fan and no heat problem either. I don't think the huts are air tight so they must be getting some fresh air!

They need more air than just goes through the zipper.
Hydrohuts had a problem with the plastic outgassing but the manufacturer has fixed it. They are actually a VERY good product.
You will need a proper exhaust fan to draw hot, stale, moist air out and bring in fresh air. Huts should have a passive intake near the bottom. But you need an exhaust to make it work the way it was designed.
Plants shrivel, get dark green, and DIE with not enough CO2. Bringing 'fresh' air from within your home is great, since you breathe OUT CO2 that the plants can use.
