the electrician i can never understand you, how do you manage being so messed up all the time?
And i got 9 cfl's and i regret it. i payed about 70 for all of them plus 3 fixtures to hold the lights which was another 21 dollars. So for 91 dollars i should have just spent a little extra and got some real lights

LED??? I am not sure about that, but you need to stop thinking watts and start thinking Lumens. The plant couldn't care less how many watts you are pushing other than the heat you are also creating which can be a bad thing... Your plant is only interested in the lumens you can provide and the light spectrum that you can provide them in. If you are working on a budget and don't want to produce alot of heat, you should try T-5 high output fluorescents. I know a lot of people will argue with that advice, but I have grown hydro for 8+ years now and I have been able to put together a room with T-5's that puts out 40000 lumens. This set up uses less electricity and produces less heat and also created a much healthier plant than my old Hps lights did. Most importantly it also produced more of what we are all looking for. They sell these lights for about $30 each and you can chain them together to create any configuration you like. Each light produces 5000 lumens so you will need 8 to get 40000 lumens. You can probably get by with half that your first time through if your budget is tight. GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND....

You can buy bulbs for the T-5 in both a veg and flowering spectrum, just change your bulbs when you start flowering.... I was talking to the beer.
