How good is a bubbler?

I just ordered myself a $60 bubbler. About 7" long and is CCG. The shipping was free and there was a 4" included with it..

Anyway, the reason I'm buying it because it works like a bong. I've just smoked two bowls out of my friend's bubbler for the first time and I can't tell much difference.

So, how good is a bubbler compared to other types?

Well... i can't say that a bubbler is as good as a bong... but that's a personal opinion. The point of a bubbler is to give you a smoother and a bit of a cooler hit than a pipe would. The water is there to cool the smoke down so you can ingest more... with a bong I usually fill it with Ice water and it lets me take huge ass hits from it... but I personally like smoking with a good ol' pipe... it's small and easy to transport... it's all up to personal opinion though i guess....

How do you figure? You're saying I'll get 30% more THC if the smoke goes through water instead of straight to my lungs? Bongs and bubblers are just big bowls with water in them, ya know. And joints do waste some smoke but I wouldn't go as far to say that you'll get over twice as high smoking a gram in a bong as you would with a joint.

Without sounding like an ass and getting too technical (cause I'm not that smart), a bong does give you way more bang for your buck. It has to do with the optimum burning temperature for weed along with the mechanics of how a bong works. I bong doesn't dissipate the smoke, it actually concentrates it using a vacuum seal and air pressure to build up the smoke. All the water does is cool the smoke so it's gentler on your lungs and easier to take a big hit. The water also filters out some of the carcinogens which are too heavy to pass through. You don't lose any smoke it the process because smoke is lighter than water and air pressure forces it up and through. That's it for the most part though I'm sure there's a lot more to it.

Joints give you a slow burn that is not always hot enough to activate all the THC in the weed. But to each their own. I'm a pipe man myself, bongs are way too heavy of a hit for me and pipes are smaller and easier to carry around. :o

I got a 7 inch ccg (blue, i dont know if there are other colours it can turn) with a little box for 20 bucks at a flea market near where i live, thats canadian money too har har.
Oh but also, that one looks kind of hard to smoke, i mean the bowl would be in my hair like an old home made bong ><

^^^ No, not water bong, a bubbler. A bubbler is more like a pipe with a small chamber to fill up with water. They're usually a little bigger than pipes and give cleaner, smoother hits. Ill take a bubbler hit to a pipe hit any day.

I rarely ever smoke joints, preferring bowls and bongs, because they waste less smoke. With a joint, there's a lot of smoke that goes off into the air when you're not puffing on it. With a bowl/bong, so long as you cap it with a coin after you take a hit, you lose no smoke at all.

Every hit is fresh one and the thc travels with the smoke making the last hit much stronger than the first. :D

a bub is like the best thing to a bong, the bong will fuck you up but a bub you can bring around and they hit supreme i only smoke out of a bong or bub
