on my little ones still in veg. theres a substance appearing on the leaves that looks like rust has this ever happened to anyone:wtf:

Pics and conditions, especially soil runoff pH or res pH if in hydro. Fill out the troubleshooting form and post the info. It's at teh top of the section.
K def is a likely suspect for a rusty appearance. Common in wet, acid soils.

I've also understood that a P overdose can look alot like a K def.. what do you think?

Without any more info it's hard to say anything for sure though.

I've also understood that a P overdose can look alot like a K def.. what do you think?I think that the P overdose actually causes K def by 'locking it out' and making it unavailable to the plant. You will also see scorched leaf tips if you are creating overfert lockout conditions. In a pH lockout condition, these may not be present.
