Ok I just happen to notice that the timer isnt going exactly 12/12... the damn thing turns on at 6:54 am and turns off at 6:57pm. There's a 3 min difference there...has anyone had probs with that?

I'm assuming it's not digital? If that's the case, spend the $20 and get you a digital timer from HD or Lowe's. The ones I use are very accurate, and even have an internal battery to keep the settings from being lost in the event of a power outage.

Hey man, you're right it's not digital. It's one of those inline sunsystem timers. .: Sunlight Supply - horticulture and aquarium lighting systems :. I'm going manual and try to have the timer take over again next morning and see if it's closer this time. if it doesn't work that will really blow...

I doubt 3 minutes would have much of an effect.

haha, I didn't think it would be an issue and I wasn't stressing about it yet. And I've just NOW noticed it, but ya just never know it's worth checking.
Afterall sometimes plants will go south over the smallest thing...
