Oh man..
Do you have tornado insurance? What are you going to do about repairing/new house?

insurance will cover 100%, no worries there but we're under a state of emergency and we can't go back until they get the down power lines/gas leaks fixed.

The tornado turned your neighborhood into a junkyard. It helped to know that everyone was alright, before I looked at the pictures.

Heard about the tornados on the news, that's scary man. Glad everyone's ok tornados are not to be fucked with.. However that doesnt stop me from going storm chasing the last few summers , you gotta know what you're doing though otherwise it's extremely stupid to go driving towards a storm... actually it probably is stupid even though we do know what we're doing lol

Are you going to stay living where things like tornadoes happen?
Pull up stakes and move away from there to a place that does not have catastrophic natural disasters every year because of location on the globe.

I always think the same thing when I see tornados and hurricanes that hit in the same locations year after year. But then you and I live in California which is going to shake really hard sometime soon.

thanks everybody everything is starting to get straightened out, contractors sealed the house up with tarps and all the adjuster came today but an engineer will have to make the desicion whether or not we'll be repairing or tearing it down. he's suppost to come tomrrow so hopefully by monday i'll know whats up. Shit went down, 3 people died in a trailer park up the road from me, luckily all our good stuff, computers, phones, xbox, tools are all ok, i'm living with my grandfather right now we might be renting a house soon.

Holy shit dude. Can you just describe the experience starting from when it happened? Were you prepared (like did the TV warn you)?

Well there was a tornado watch out for my area, and i was watching the weather on the tv and on the internet.
i was standing on my back porch seconds before it hit, i was watching the sky, then the wind started picking up so i stepped inside thinking it might be bad news and then the power flipped off and me and my family jetted for the bedroom closet, it is an interior closet with no windows and we barley made it in before the class started breaking out of the windows and shit was flying everywhere
it was a really intense feeling, it was sucking everything out of the house, felt like we were in a vacuum, just a few more seconds and it would have took my room off and my house apart, but it only lasted a few seconds and it was over, we walked outside and everything was destroyed, including our garage and my car :(
