unidentified part, HERMIE?

My female plants seem to have developed a part I can't identify.
I have no male plants.

What is it?
Is it normal?
Have they gone hermie on me?

Those are calyxes (sp?) That is where seeds grow if the female plants get pollinated.

Like cmasfca said, they're calyxes. You will see them swell in flowering when they are packed together in buds, and individually when they're the loners at nodes. They're doing the same thing the buds are: getting bigger... no need to worry.
