Hey everyone,

So I'm making my list and checkin' it twice, and I don't know what strain to go with. I was considering White Widow because everyone rips and raves over it, but what do you think?

I will be growing indoors, so if that helps...

Thanks!

I would go with something that would benefit you the most, whether it be indica, sativa, or hybrid. I don't know what plant to recommend, cuz i have never grown, but just remember to put that into your standard. Anyways Good luck finding something :rastasmoke:

I grow White Widow and personally love the strain. You have to be kind of careful when fertilizing it though.

Northern Lights and Top44 are both two strains that are good for beginners. Very forgiving of mistakes.

Hmm, I think I will go with "Ganesha's Dream", which is a blend of Northern Lights and Shiva!

Make sure what ever you choose will do well in your area.

Some parts of the world will deliver flower conditions for only a few months, so you may need a fast finishing breed. Just keep that in mind, early crops kinda suck.

Haha.. I probably shouldn't be operating a computer right now. Had one too many about 3 bowls ago.

Umm, alright, let me try to conjure up some advice to save face. WW can be stinky so keep that in mind. Also, my first time I used bagseed so I didn't risk throwing good genetics(and money) down the drain. Honestly, though, it's pretty easy to grow if you have the dedication. So I wouldn't worry about that too much. Look around at some grow logs on the forums and see what catches your eye.

White Widow, White Rhino, and other "white" strains have a very special place in my heart, and yes...the highs are phenomenal. But I wouldn't recommend it for a first (or even second/third) grow. Fencewalker is right about nutrients, WW can be a little finicky in this area... and you might end up confusing one problem for another, which can end up drastically reducing your yield.

If you can get your hands on some less expensive seeds, or free bagseed, you might think about successfully bringing a plant from seed to harvest first..then look into growing some of the "designer strains". It's totally up to you, though. There are plenty of good strains out there that don't have super special needs. I guess I may just be bitter, because Murphy's Law bit me in the ass big time on my first grow. And I would have been severely pissed if I had shelled out hundreds of dollars worth of good seeds for my first shot.

ahh White Rhino, mmmm that's one I can't wait for, I hope to make a place for it in my heart soon too lol I hear easy on nutes with that one...

but.....
I have found mandala strains to be the most forgiving imo, but havn't tried them all either.

Mandala Hashberry is fantabulouso.
Nirvana's Pure Power Plant yields big and grows easily.
Skunk#1, pure Afghani, Northen Lights#5, and Papaya are all considered forgiving noob-friendly strains, and the bud is perfectly respectable!
Be careful where you get the White Rhino seeds; Nirvana's stock has had serious hermi problems in the line.
