Hey guys i'm on about day 20 veg of my indoor grow, when da best time to start LST?


Any help appreciated,

when you know for sure if the plant is a female. you dont want males mixed up in the area unless you want a seeded crop, but somewhere around 6-8" and a strong stem system you can start to train. just be gentle with your ladies and use a soft string and twisty ties with loose loops to tie them down

If you don't mind wasting time (or 'practicing' lol) on males, as soon as the plant is strong enough to put a bit of yarn around without damage and has given you a few adult nodes to work with. Around the 6th adult node is just fine.

Thanks for answering you two! I am gonna try it on my pot with the two plants in, both look like they have female pistols, but it's still a bit early!

New growth is on the 6th set of leaves so I think they are ready :thumbsup:

Will take pictures if it goes well!
