Hey,

I'm going to post some pictures of my plants, two of which appear to be stunted in comparison to the third.

The largest seedling was the first to sprout and is 12 days old, the two remaining are 9 and 7 days old and are the same size. However as you can see the (two RUNTS!!) appear to have hardly grown at all, and have made no progress in comparison to their sibling. They have been under 12/12 light from seed as this iis a micro grow and they are under 57 watts of CFL and are very close to them. Anyone else think they are small, or 'runts' perhaps? Oppinions and advice welcome, as I'm losing my patience with them.

pic 2 & 3 - seedlings on 1st Feb

The seedlings that got a later start will, of course, be a bit smaller. If the two that got a later start were bigger than the first one, you may have cause to worry.
Also, you can get different characteristics from seeds in the same batch. (some may take after mommy, some take after daddy)
Relax, give them time, and don't kill them trying to make them catch-up.

Your soil looks like it holds moisture really well, so be sure you don't water your seedlings too much. If they're kept too moist, it can slow growth, and even kill them. You might think of adding perlite to the soil next time you start seedlings. A little extra oxygen around the roots makes a world of difference, especially this early.

Hey thanks, thats reassuring. I noticed this morning that the largest seedlings roots were just popping out of the bottom of the pot, and between morning and this evening it has deffinately put on a growth spurt, with brand new stalks for the first two leaves and new stalk growth between the main stalk and the developing second node. :pimp:

Sorry I do obsess over my children, I've not smoked since 2005.. :o

One year, we had a few clones before we were ready. By the time they were planted, half died. But there was one that stayed at the second set of leaves stage until bud. It produced one small bud. I fed and watered it just like the rest . It was really nice smoke, just the one bud though.

They were all transpanted into 1 gal pots. 1/2 died before the transplant. After the transplant, they all lived. I was just noting that one little baby never grew. We thought sure it would die. I fed and watered it just like the rest. It was just a little strange. Only time that ever happened.
