I have 8 Master Kush plants at 48 days into flower; about a week from harvest. I had a few troubles this grow such as fungus and slime in the bottom of my flood trays because of poor drainage, which was causing all sorts of problems. I had my first pest, the fungus gnat, and No Pest Strips did nothing about it. I still have a few that I see around, but cleaning the entire system completely and then flushing with water and H2O2 and a hanging a sticky fly strip took care of the vast majority. Hopefully they disappear after harvest. I also may have had some issues with my nutrient application, so I think I am going to try strictly nutes and no supplements and see what happens.

The positive things from this grow compared to last are:

1) 80% survival rate compared to 33% survival rate for my first grow.

2) Overall resin production is INSANE. WAY more crystals than any of the plants had last time.

3) NO SEEDS! I must have had a rogue herm that went undetected last time and I thought I was pollinated again this time, but to my pleasant surprise, it was just the flower really filling out, which I didn't experience last grow. I also used Dutch Master Reverse as a precautionary measure, so I am unsure of whether or not they just didn't herm or the Reverse stopped it. Either way, I'll probably use Reverse again just in case.

I've got 10 clones growing now, 9 of which I will flower since I flowered my old mother due to size issues, and they are also looking great. Hopefully I can have 100% survival and fewer problems now that I have taken care of my drainage issue.

We are going to get you a 100% next time......

Glad you're ending up with a good grow. I'd stay with your Reverse.....better safe than sorry. ;)

So far from the two plants that have dried, I've yielded a measly 18.6 grams. :( They are, however, the smallest plants, so hopefully I can pull some decent weight from the big nasties. I am cutting down the final two plants tonight, one of which is my largest one. Then I am making some minor adjustments to my system, and will begin flowering my third crop tomorrow or Saturday.

Well, I've yielded a little over 2 oz from the 4 plants that have dried so far. Pretty weak, but they were small plants. I can't wait till the big monsters are dry!

Well you should get 2oz from the remaining two don't you think? When are you starting your next flowering stuff?

I have 4 remaining to dry, so I'm hoping for 3 more oz. The biggest one and the ex mother (which was a huge bush with tons of small but dense buds) will be the last to dry. I should have two done drying tomorrow and then the last two the day after. Doing it in shifts just kind of happened, but I'm glad we did it this way. Made managing 8 plants a lot easier. My drying temp has been 67-69 and the humidity from 42-51% and they have been taking about 4 days to dry until the stems snap.

I gutted my room and cleaned it out tonight and then set it all back up, so tomorrow at 8 PM my next flowering cycle starts. I cut the drain down on one side down a little more because it was still holding too much water, so hopefully my problems with that are over. My roots are a lot different this time around, I think because I vegged with a dark cycle. They are a LOT more spread out and less dense and blocky. I think am also going to have to combat height and distance from the bulb this time around as these clones got insanely huge insanely fast. They are already 22" tall and I only have about 40" of vertical space, and 35" of space between the top of the bin and the bulb. I did try FIM'ing the tallest ones about a week ago, but I really don't know if I did it right. It always seems like none of the pictures ever look like what my plants look like. We shall see though.

I am also using base nutes only this time around to hopefully avoid weird levels of nutrients I may or may not have been getting last time. I plan to start using a small amount of Sweet at week 4 until flush. I have also been running on water only for the past week, mainly to take the nutes away so they would stop growing, but also to help curb the salt buildup I got last time.

I am pretty excited about this grow. I'm hoping for a big yield so I can take some time off from doing it for a month or so. The weekly res changes get pretty tiring, but the hard work is definitely worth not having to depend on the black market anymore.

75% dry so far equaling 2 3/4 oz. Each small jar holds 1/4 oz and the big jar has 1/2 oz. I also have another jar with 3/4 oz worth of tiny buds and shake that I smoke while the bigger buds are curing. I also got 2.4 g of bubble hash from the clippings from all the plants. The last two plants should be dry by tomorrow so I'll have a final yield then.

Well, it totaled out to around 4.25 oz give or take a few grams and 2.4 g of Gumby Hash. I have 3.5 oz curing and another half oz of small buds and shake for smoking now. Overall a great grow!

Hey man, how much did the MK plants stretch after you started flowering them? How much room should i leave for them below the light? I have a confined growing space and i don't want them to grow into the light and get burned.

Thanks!
