Screens in bowls?

people usually dont, screens are mostly put in sliders (the part of the bong you load ur weed in.

i use a screen in every cone i own, in pipes it means you dont get 'shooting stars' lumps flying into youre mouth... it makes for better resin that builds up too...

I like screens in all my bowls. Even my glass one. Mainly because if you're out of weed sometimes you can clean-hit it and get a nice buzz.

I have a cool piece I got with a big whole so I screened that. the screen was burnt though and broke. Are metal screens unhealthy?

I don't use one in my glass piece unless I'm smoking shake or resin, but I always use them in my bong which uses the bowl part of a metal pipe.

Has anyone seen these things called glass screens? what are they for? Bong slides?

never heard of a glass screen......i don't know that i would trust it either.....unless the name doesn't really fit...cuz if it is the same thing as a screen just made out of glass seems to me that it would break and shatter reaaaaaally easy and go flyin into your lungs and you would be bleeding from the lungs...but you can do that by smoking menthols lol

Haha no no, it's not actually a screen, it's more like a filter, they just call it a screen. But I was thinking the exact same thing as you when I first heard of it.

i have a glass screen for my bong. it looks like a little spar. or star. like 5 point balls on it. its hard to explain. they work alright. i dont use it though. i dont use screens in anyhting but the gravity bong. dont smoke out of metal except the fake cig in my dugout (onehitter)

they are like $5 and really easy to lose though. very small...and then they get resinated and you cant see them....a few times i cashed it out with the bowl and almost threw it away.

oh ok...then i guess i would trust them...tho i'll just stick to my brass screens cuz one they get dirty and nasty all youg ott do is pull out another 10 cent one and throw the old one away....or save a bunch of reisnated ones up for a rainy day of dry hitting....gives you a decent buzz...but a severely bad taste lol

I use screens in bongs to keep from sucking shit through, but the only time I use a screen in my glass piece is when I'm burning resin balls.

I always use screens for my metal bowls. I go through so many of them. Like, a pack a week easily. I guess I like my bowls fresh and clean.

But what's the difference (if any) between the gold and the silver screens? I always buy the gold ones cause they seem more pliable.
