Letting res water sit

when you make a rez do you all let your water sit for a whole day?? I heard that is the method that is the best.

All that will do is generally let some of the excess chlorine evaporate out. A small amount of chlorine is beneficial to the plant, so you shouldn't concern yourself with this process unless you feel it necessary; however, if you are still worried about it, go ahead and let it sit out... peace of mind is priceless.
