I'm a wee bit older than you and work in education. Always glad to greet another "older" gal. Women are really outnumbered by the men here, and being over 40 and female puts us in a definite minority!

I am assuming you are a RN, from your handle. You might enjoy the link in my sig and another post (I have it here, but I also want to introduce you to treatingyourself.com- an excellent MMJ site.) It's an update to the original post.

My "Happy New Year" Medical post - TreatingYourself.COM Online Community (http://www.treatingyourself.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=25554)

It's the URLs of several hundred medical abstracts and articles. The two posts total about 50 pages- depending on your printer. Have fun with it and spread it around. I'm sure you will think of a few places it is needed. :D

As a fellow medical user, I think you'll be pleased to know that C.com seems to be evolving into a more medically based site. Enjoy your stay here! - Granny:hippy:

Thanks to all of you for the kind welcomes. Storm Crow! What a wealth of information you are! Thank-you! Yes, I am an RN, and unfortunately on disability for the last 4 years. I guess we can be the "Old Hippy Chicks" on this site. LOL! :hippy:

Is it your back that troubles you? I'm just curious. 3 of the 4 nurses that I know all have back problems! Glad you enjoyed the posts! - Granny:hippy:

My back, yes, but I've got Inflammatory Arthritis and Fibromyalgia too....along with Diabetes and Pulmonary Hypertension. I can't take anti-inflammatory meds due to kidney problems. Boy, in print that looks terrible! :rastabanna:

Welcome and I hope you enjoy CO.

There is an excellent group in North Denver and another great group in Colorado Springs...

Your state has some of the cheapest electrical rates, best water in the country and god I love that clean, clear mountain air...

Thanks for all the nice hellos. Hello back at ya! fUNKYcDOG My first was Lowryder2. I planted 4, got 4, 2 females and 2 "unfortunate" deaths of the males. LOL! I harvested one and got a little over 1 oz, and the other is still budding. I also have some feminized Blueberry and White Widow from Dutch Passion....so one of those will be next, although I still have 16 LR2 seeds too. :hippy:

Lowryder #2 is a cross between the autoflowering dwarf, Lowryder, and a variety known for copious resin production, exotic taste and soaring highs (Santa Maria is an indica/sativa mix originally from Brazil). I got these from DopeSeeds.com........Hummmm...Did I even answer your question? LOL!

Hi, and Happy Leap Day!

It's wonderful to have an educated perspective in these nutty days, and Kudos for your new garden!

I just moved to Denver, so I'm not a medical patient here. I was in San Diego though, before the raids...

I'm still active on the herb though, and appreciate it's medical benefits, as well as social,
mental/spiritual. I want to be an 'Older Hippie Chick' too, but I'm an early `30's male! LOL!

Great to have you! Maybe I'll bump into you someay!
