I need your help. I had a local hydroponic shop making me a custom cabinet for my grow. I sent them the dimensions for the unit and mentioned that i also wanted a scrog screen. When i spoke to him, he said that scrog screens are only used for illegal purposes and he couldnt take my order. & now he wont take my calls. I'm had NO idea that "scrog" screen was only used for growing weed. I'm new to this & I knew not to go in there talking about weed, marijuana, or anything related...but i thought scrog was a method of growing plants in general...not just growing weed. What do i do now? i need a custom cabinet that looks like an piece of furniture, i have no handy skillz and i'm stuck.

Growboy,

Considering the article above... is it any wonder they don't want to take your calls now?

I always thought we had backwards weed laws, but nothing comes close to the insanity of the US federal government. I count my lucky stars not to have been born in the land of the 'free'.

I've moved this to its own thread. Please do not threadjack other threads, or needlessly bump ancient threads. Thank you.

well I've never heard of ScrOG being used for other plants but if you wish to do business with the guy then do some research and see if there are other plants that are grown this way and tell him you are growing whatever else you can.

Hops... it's a vine... well, technically a 'BINE' lol! tell him you're experimenting with indoor hop cultivation, as the worldwide shortage (caused by a fungal blight I beleive) has led to skyrocketing hop prices. Seriously. Read up on it.
