Black leaves on clones

The yellowing is not what bothers me, the blackening leaves are.
Day 6 from clip.
Rockwool was soaked for 24hrs.
Domes have been on and vented every 12hrs.
Temps are low at 61-72F.
Humididty seems to be high as there is always moisture on the domes.

They were just misted with an insecticide with pyrethrin and neem oil 5 days ago.

Any ideas as what the problem is?
Is this a result of embolism?

In my experience, an embolism usually ends up in a wilted, bent-over, dead/dying cutting. I'm not exactly sure what's causing your problem, but I would say no to the embolism, especially since the other tissues seem unaffected. Are the dark sections soft or crispy?

Temps are low and I'm wondering if that is causing me problems.

You will want to raise your temps a bit. That's too low to clone successfully in; with low temps and high humididty rot is a very big problem. I'd go right up to 78'F.

Blink - I usually see those kind of leaves when a cutting gets too droopy and then recovers. If I think a clone is ready to leave the dome, and then come back to find it bent in half and droopy, it will usually recover by misting it and putting it back under the dome, but some of the leaves never recover and just get crispy like yours. I trim the dead leaves as soon as the clone is living on its own outside the dome.

So I will do some trimming of dead leaves and raise the temps.

Will a heating mat used for reptile terrariums be too hot?
What else can be used? I'm not too creative this morning.

A box with a light inside it like a lamp etc....then cover it with something and put your dome on that. Never tried this method cause heating pads are real cheap. But it does mention this method in the Marijuana Hurticulture medical Bible.

i got a small space heater for $14 and temps are up to 80F.
I should have known that I was pushing it with the low temps, hopefully the added heat corrects the problem.
