What's the longest you know someone going without weed and still testing positive?

Hello all, my first post here, nice to meet you all.

I've been crazy stressing over a pre-employment drug test for a while now and have been reading lots of different information about how long weed can stay in the system on a urine test for a chronic smoker anywhere from 10 days to 12 weeks. Needless to say this is quite a big spread--and to be quite honest I find it a little hard to believe that somone could go 12 weeks without smoking and still come up positive--but anyway was just wondering what's the longest you ever knew someone to go without weed and have a positive urine?

I, of course, am asking for my own peace of mind as well. I went 35 days without and was a pretty heavy smoker before then (used to smoke every day for about 10 years, but the last 7 months probably smoke 3-5 times a week just cause it's been hard to get lately). I would say I have about an average metabolism and I drank a lot of water before I donated, didn't give the first pee of the day and gave mid-stream, etc.

So, does anyone know of anyone that had 35 days or more and still failed?

P.S. Drug tests are the most ridiculous things in the world...especially since if I were a crack-head I wouldn't have to even worry with that time frame. Duh.

I was an everyday smoker and it took me 3 weeks. But we've had people here in the forum that have taken over 2 months. Everybody is different.

I took about 3 hits (mids) nearly every day for 3 months, then stopped. I tested my first piss of the morning on the 17th day and passed.

A friend of mine took about 42 days, and that's the longest I've seen in person. I usually take like 2 weeks, even though I smoke a lot. It might be the low body fat, or maybe it just gets out of me quick for some reason.

I'm 5"8' and 270+ (You laughing at Me??) and after 6 months of top shelf of two ounces a month in a pipe I went straight for 3 months and was frustrated after once a week testing and gave up after 6 weeks. I was dirty as hell. I gave up on testing clean and started smoking again, but a lot less....:smokin:....:stoned:
