Been busy and away for awhile...good to be back ;)

Does anyone know anything about the testing that is done for nursing classes? I'm going to take a couple of my required nursing classes at a local community college; it's cheaper than my univ. and will transfer. My advisor told us yesterday that we could periodically be randomly drug tested since we'll be at the hospital during the end of the semester.

Birdgirl, maybe you know?

I'd never heard of it either, silky, and it made me wonder if she was just testing us to see how we'd respond. I'm pretty sure, though (can't really ASK someone in authority, they'll figure it out) we'll have to be tested before we do clinicals. Haven't decided what nursing yet (RN maybe, LPN likely), but the core classes are the same.

I'm hoping since it's routine, I can sub. Would be afraid to try the dilute...I'm a heavy smoker.
