I heard scorging is the way to go, any thoughts? stinky addict?

:rasta:My friend recomended stinky addict but I could use advice from all successfull scorgers. I wanted to try scrogging but I have never actually seen it done. I would be much appreciative of any tips from more experienced scroggers (pictures encouraged). I have 20 bubblegum plants in a 4x7 flood tray. I can go about 5 feet vertically. The plants are 3 days in and I would like to get started with this as soon as possible. First and formost I need to know how high above the pot to put the wire. Another thing I'm unclear on is how much of the chicken wire should be filled out before I stop vegging. I'm new to this so any scrogging tips would be very helpfull. Thanks

I don't know - Stinky has a pretty good sense of humor. I think scorging and Stinky Addict are kinda funny.

btown - Your plants need to be in their final pots before you put them under the screen. Once they start growing into the screen, there's no moving them.

As far as how full to let the screen get before flipping - 50% - 75% full on the screen. You won't really know for sure until your second grow of the same strain, unless you have grown the strain before you don't know how much it will grow during the stretch.

I AM addicted to the stinky green... :D Well, to growing it anyway... that's the addictive part. I could quit smoking whenever I wanted to (haha like THAT'S ever going to happen).

As a matter of fact I have never tried a SCROG grow personally so this is one thread that I'm not going to even try to answer.
Just some hints though, it's important to know that you are not SCROGging a male by mistake, so starting with female clones, or sexing before you initiate the SCGROG is not a bad idea.
Choose a strain that has good branching. A leggier plant is a nice choice, rather than a SUPER squat indica that doesn't stretch enough to weave into the screen, or grow tall enough to allow good air flow beneath the canopy.
