Weed smoking law in ny?

hey guys im wondering if theres any consequences in getting caught high after u smoked? can u go to jail? i now in some states theres laws like this but is there any in ny?

It is NOT illegal to be high anywhere, unless you are driving. There are some misleading things about public intoxication but no cop can get you for having red eyes, and since there is no test for being high youa re in the clear

they cant bag you for having red eyes, however, [i dont know if there allowed to or not] but nypd says they can search you for 'smelling' like weed, wich can in turn lead to an arrest, summons or other type of fine. Thats just from my personal experience with nypd.

holy shit, thats crazy, here everyone just smokes outside and youre not in trouble even if they catch you smoking a joint, ull get maybe a fine if the cop is pissed or something..

I doubt they can harass you for being high. Im pretty sure if you smell like it, they have the right to search you, I guess.

well hopefully when you're high it isn't very noticeable...if you can function in society without drawing attention I highly doubt you're going to be accused of being high...if you draw a lot of attention in society, you shouldn't smoke..because jail isn't fun..because it's illegal to be under the influence of drugs..that includes marijuana.

well i know that there is a test to tell if your high. not sure what they do but back when i was a sophmore in high school the principle took a couple of kids into the nurses office and took their blood pressure with a machine. Well they did just come back from a smokeride and reaked of weed and yes they did get caught lol. im pretty sure if you smell like weed its enough for a search
