I was wondering when I should move my seedlings into my ebb and flo hydro rig? They have been under constant light for nearly two weeks. They are barely two inches in height and are just starting their second set of regular leaves. All total they have 3 sets of nodes, two regular sets of leaves and the first set that look like they were part of the seed at some point in time (if any of that made sense.) I know I should get out some pics but I don't have my camera handy. I've been keeping my grow plugs (rapid rooters) moist the entire time. They look healthy but I need to know when I should move them into my hydro rig with nutrients.

Thanks,

P

If its without nutrients you can move them in at any time. What is absolutely critical is that the light be high enough to generate no heat and the roots, if not the bottom of the rooter itself be fully in water.

Otherwise the plant will just dehydrate and die on you. After they have developed some more roots and leaves, then you can lower the water level below the rooter.
