The computer fan has two wires. How does an AC to DC adpater connect to the fan wires to give it power?

Hello friend, can you check the specification of the fan, is it DC or AC? 12V DC is the standard for ATX fans. Ahh, you're trying to plug in a fan without using an AT/ATX 12V DC PSU. Ahh no need, grab yourself a pc PSU and connect a switch up to the ATX SOFT_ON (green) and BLACK GROUND (black) it's pins 13 and 14 I think. It shouldn't be dangerous as the switch is low voltage..
Hmm well, there are other ways that might be more practical than buying a convertor if you have a spare AT/ATX psu around. :-)
If the fan is prefabbed with molex connector, AT/ATX is a good idea, I'll grab some pictures later of my psu for my fan ;-)
