Cold = Buzz Kill?

I find that after blazing this time of year you feel good, your stoned, your happy....then you step outside and things change.

especially at my college it is just freezing and i feel like when i go outside i automatically lose some of my high. all i can think about is how cold i am.

anyone else find the cold weather to be the ultimate bring down?

same thing happens to me with cold weather. i think it might be because it numbs me a bit. buuuuuut i've been in maine for the past 6 months, so i'm a bit more used to the cold cold weather now. i loved sparking up a joint in the car on the way home from work (night shift, so i left work around 11 30, getting home around midnight) especially when it snows, because it looks like you're going through space...strange i know, but really, try it, it's awesome. lived out in the country, so there weren't lots of lights to take away from the effect.

definitely know what you're saying, living in southern ontario here. up here where i go to school, i give myself snowdays, raindays, and cold days as excuses not to go to class.

i know what YOU mean as well. i love toking up in my car when its snowing. its mesmerizing and at the same time decreases my chances of getting busted. its just when i have to get out of the car when it all goes downhill.

i personally dont think it detracts from the high for me, though ive always been tolerant of the cold, so long as it is outside im fine, but i cant stand it to be cold inside, its strange, i could go outside in a t-shirt when its 30 degrees and feel the coldness but not be cold, then i can walk inside a house, and if its below 70 ill need a jacket, its cool, but being outside in the cold while high doesnt really affect me, but i feel as though when its warm, i feel better while high, just cause i dont even notice anything.

I personally love smoking outside when it's cold, for some reason I seem take monster hits and it is pretty cool to see the smoke slowly rise. But being outside in the cold other than when I'm smoking... hell no especially when you're high since you can feel it much more.

I love being high outside in the cold. It feels good. I'm originally from Vermont, so I enjoy cold weather more than hot weather. Of course i'de rather have it warm than anything, but if i had to choose, i'de be cold instead of hot.

I am used to smoking in the cold. When I was younger I would stay out all the time during the winter just chillin' outside. I am quite used to having to sit outside or something and freeze my ass off while smoking. So it really doesn't bother me that much, just went to a DE park and smoked there earlier, needless to say it was freezing.

Definately a huge buzzkill.

It's freezing everyday here usually -10C everyday now it's at the time where it's -20C everyday and colder and when I smoke outside I barwely feel anything but when I walk in after smoking outside then it hits me and Im stoned as fuck :jointsmile:

I only walk outside in the winter when I'm stoned. I just let my thoughts wonder and trudge along until I'm at my destination. Helps me ingore the cold and kill the time.

I wouldn't say it makes you any less high but it's hard to relax and enjoy the high when you're freezing your ass off. I always find myself shaking constantly trying to warm myself up.

Its between Erie and Pittsburgh.
...and it was around 0 degrees all weekend.

i live in Massachusetts so i am used to it. it is 0 degrees here today. i just came back from a ride. but it does ruin my high a little bit. i like to be outside next to a lake smoking a bowl during the summer.

DUDE! i though i was the only one who despised the cold. it seems as if everyone is ok with it. not me......i definitely lose my high and feel miserable when its cold. its just not enjoyable. i would rather be able to wear shorts and a t-shirt every day of the year and every night of the year.

but maybe its cuz im a so-cal pussy. i hate anything below 70 degrees no joke.
