I read this article on Drug Courts where they say that 30 days for detox is ample amount of time for a person to clean out. When in fact I feel it takes others actually longer to detox than just 30 days. The drug courts will actually say that abstinence has been violated if someone has tested positive beyond this 30 day detox time and punish offenders. They are going by these recent studies by a toxicologist Dr. Cary from the university of Missouri which studies were done that a chronic user will test negative even at the 20ng level after ceasing smoking for 21 days. Can I have the experts opinions on this.

I've read the same article. I was hoping that it was true as far as detection times are concerned but I believe it is very out of date and as we all know, mj is becoming more potent every year. I'm over thirty days and still pissing hot.

Did you look at the referenced research? The newest info is from 2002...six years ago! Most of the references are almost 10 years old. Picture the kindbud that you had 6 or 10 years ago vs today. I referenced the same article about a month ago. While it is completely wrong if the drug courts consider it valid....it isn't current research. It's a rehash of out of date information. That's my understanding...but I'm thankfully not an expert when it comes to the court system.

I agree dude I just feel that the drug courts might be punishing offenders who are actually clean because some people it takes longer than 30 days to clean out.

Definitely more junk science. A lot of this garbage ends up in court where it really has no business.
