I will be growing with a HydroHut Mini Complete:

Hydro Wholesale offers Wholesale Hydroponics, HPS and MH Grow Lights, HydroWholesale hydroponic Supp: Hydro Hut Mini Complete, 3' x 3' x 6' (http://www.hydrowholesale.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=hydro&Product_Code=HHMINI2&Category_Code=CHGK)

I'm upgrading it to an air-cooled 600w HPS with four t5 flourescents for side lighting. I will be growing from clones supplied from my local cannabis club. I plan on growing a strain called "Odyssey" which is an indica dominant (if not pure?) strain that is known to complete its grow cycle in close to 60 days.

I'll be using the lucas formula with General Hydroponics 3 part system. I'll also be using C02 Boost for co2 supplement.

Would I get a better yeild doing it lollipop style with 16 plants in my 3x3x6 growing space? Or would I get better results from growing fewer plants bush style?

Thanks for your feedback guys! I'm a noob and I'm trying to take my first step in the right direction so all help is appreciated!!!

with that much light, some bushy plants that were tied and trained to allow as much light in as possible could produce a lot of bud..the 600 watt up top with air cooling is a ton of lumens, and having the t5 for (vertical?) on the sides for side lighting should allow all the colas to get good light and develop fully..im not really one with any good experience, but from reading other people's results, i would say fill it up with some bushy plants that you lst or top and you should do just fine.

Well Majestic,

I'm a noob too, but I'll share what I've learned during my first grow. Incidentally, I'm using a similar set-up, home built cabinet in my case, with a main grow chamber that is 4' W x 2' D x 4' 10". I also use a 600 watt light system, MH conversion bulb for veg, HPS for flower. Currently I have 6 bushy plants in full flower in 12" pots and they take up the entire box. I had 9 plants in veg, and it was worse then.

My advice during your first grow, keep it simple and controlled.. Seems to be working for me.

I would suspect that you would really get about the same yield either way. Assuming that everything in the environment is constant, and you get a full canopy, I would think that they would be very close.
