Storing Kief

Would storing the kief in a pollen press be a fine idea? I had a shitload of kief that got stolen out of my grinder at a party ( fucked up i know) so when my kief starts building up again would it be a bad idea to just start storing it in the pollen press to be ready to be pressed?

the reviews for most presses reccomend leving it in overnight to make it tight. dont see why storing it for a week like that can be bad?
