Nutes or bugs?

I have a female sativa who is now in her 8th week of flowering under a 600w hps lamp. about 3 weeks ago, a bunch of little white flying things (white flies?) started to gather more and more frequently and dispose little white balls on fan leaf undersides. they also began leaving yelloy spots about the leaf eating chlorophyll.

now, the fanleaves in the bottom half have all fallen off or are on the verge of it, and the problems climbing still. (branch leaves seem virtually unaffected, its ONLy fan leaves)
however, the top leaves appear to also be yellowing from the outside inwards as well as having spots still. this doesnt seem like a bug issue.

Im using a good layer of worm castings on the soil surface for nitrogen, as well as vegetative food infrequently to check if its a nitrogen issue, but no change is apparent.

also, on a unrelated sidenote, one of my seedlings has a funny burn or mutation on its lower leaves. any fixes?

The very first thing I would check is the ph of your soil runoff....and your water too if you don't already.

What are all your conditions, soil, etc?

unfortunately, my ph sucks and wont say that pure vinegar is anything less than 6ph....

im using worm castings as a soil topper, molassas and kelp solution at every other feeding, which takes place every 2-3 days

because my meter is obviously garbage, is there any way you can take a stab at what it needs? ive heard the soil becomes basic overtime, is that true?

fraid not. But you can buy some ph tester drops for pretty cheap at your local pet store. It's something you're going to want to keep an eye on down the road as well.

ill look into that. pet stores? as in for fish? cuz i dont want to look like an ass asking a vet for non-existant ph drops for doggies....

until then, you think its only ph issue, or does it need any fertilizer addition/removals? i want to stop the problem before any buds become affected.

Yes....that's right....for fish. :) Don't use ph ADJUSTERS for aquariums though.....only the ph testers. (fish adjusters havee too much salt)

The ph of your water AND soil runoff should be between 6.2-6.8. If the ph of your runoff is abnormal I would not use anything but plain, ph correct tap water until you feel the problem is resolved.

PS..in a pinch you can use distilled white vinegar to lower ph and baking soda to raise it. ;)

Nutes AND bugs. I see what looks like mite freckles on plant #2.
Plant #1 looks like you really overferted it, likely too much N combined with too much heat.
Peat soils become ACIDIC over time. You will need to monitor an aging peat based soil accordingly.

uhhg....looks like im gonna have to do a little fixing up around. also, ive been giving the first plant rediculous amounts of molassas (teaspoon per 1/2 litre twice a week) since im in the last few weeks flowering. is this gonna bulk the trichromes, or hurt the plant/soil?
