Hi all. I'm a born again member. I am a part time smoker, it seems to help my anxiety rather than swallowing man made chemicals which I would rather not do. I live in Arizona, which does not recognize the medicinal use of marijuana. Anyway, I made a trip to San Diego to visit a friend and hook up with the super chronic. I'm no rookie to this trip and I'm well aware of the Border Patrol checkpoints along interstate 8, with the occasional working dogs. I've made this trip plenty of times without any problems. Not so lucky this time, I had a half ounce of my medicine in airtight mason jars and as I was passing thru the Yuma checkpoint I got flagged for a secondary search. Something tipped off the dog. Don't know why or how it happened, but I got a citation for misdemeanor possession. I'm a professional working family man and by no means did my appearance or demeanor tip off the guards. Anyway, my good trip turned out to be a shitty trip. I'm down and out and need a high. Anybody else with a simialr story?:(

Uniden4, the Arizona Medical Marijuana Policy Project will be collecting signatures to place a medical marijuana initiative on the statewide ballot this November. Here is a link to an opinion piece from yesterday's Yuma Sun on the initiative.
Opinion: Marijuana use may again be on state ballot - Yuma Sun (http://www.yumasun.com/opinion/marijuana_38951___article.html/use_drug.html)
If you would like to get involved with the initiative, you can call 602-462-2291.

the US border patrol is doing the same thing it is doing on the US border, nothing but hassleing the actual citizens of the country they are supposed to be serving, really.
Sorry to hear that, man. I hope everything works out for you.

I had to delete a couple posts here because they contained instructions/discussion of smuggling. Remember that while we are all working and hoping to see cannabis use and cultivation decriminalized in the States, other crimes associated with its manufacture and distribution are not appropriate subject matter for these boards. That sort of talk puts the site and its members at risk. Thank you for your cooperation.
