not an easy thing at all. especially after 2 years.

you may or may not know about my recent relationship issues, aka drama for short, but me and my girlfriend have been having problems for the past 5 months.

she just got back from working in palm springs and called me from when she was up there asking if she could see me when she got home today. i was being optimistic and hoping for the best, but the glass was very much so half empty.

she said she was sorry things had to be so hard for us and that things could have and really should have been better. we both decided that we werent ready for the relationship we were trying to make work and that maybe the future might be a bit better to us if we stay in touch and ever decide to try this again.

so i walked her to her car, gave her her things and got mine from her car. stared at each other for a minute like "this cant be it", hugged for a good minute or two and then i remorsefully let my baby go.

i hate to be so sappy and put you guys through other peoples drama. im just hurting.

Im so sorry, but you guys seem to have made the wise, mature decision. I know it hurts right now, but after all you guys left it open for the future so she may be back in your arms in no time at all. :)

Did she return the light saber, Jedi?

Sorry things didn't work out. Five months of problems is a long time, so it is probably best that you at least take a break. Still, it's sad, isn't it?

This might be a pessimistic thing to say, but sometimes the longer you are with someone and the better you get to know them, the more you realize that they aren't right for you and you don't want to be with them anymore.
