i have a cupord that i am planning on growing in, im kinda worried its gonna be to small hieght wise.
so if any one can help me and tell me what the normal hieght of a plant is i would appricheate it.

There is no rule about that, it depends on a lot of things like: the strain, the setup (if the light if too far the plant will stretch), etc...

Somewhere between one inch and twenty feet :) It depends on too much to predict as LuciferN said. I suppose the only answer is: as tall as you want it.

You need to look into training methods such as ScrOG and LST which will allow you to grow your plant more horizontally.

right just measured the cupord and its 4ft hieght x 3ft width x 3ft deep.
with a 400w hps light, how many plants roughly would i be able to gro in this area.
