Hey guys, So I started this grow about 3 weeks ago (Christmas Time) and just thought that I would share it with you guys since I don't post much.

This is whats going on. Currently, I am working with 20 plants, although 12 are about 2-3 days younger than the other 8. They are all from bagseed. I figure with males and a few maybe not making it my numbers will slim down. Hoping for around 5-8.

Anyways, Im set up in my attic. I have insulated the space to the best of my ability. My room is about 8x8 and 6 ft high in the center.
Right now I have 8 fluro tubes, 2 are ecolux bulbs and the other 4 are GE plant and aquarium bulbs. I also have a lil CFL just hanging around for some spot treatment.

My temps have been 65-75F, and Humidty in the 30% percent range. (I need to purchase a new humidifier asap).

Ummm, I am doing some low stress traing with all of them. They all seem to be doing fine, i have two that are wiltering away a little bit and im sure they wont amount to much. If they keep this shit up i may just get rid of them cause they are taking up extra light. Or not, i dont know at the moment.

There is this one plant that is growing all retarded. On one side of the plant the leaves are dying and the other side is growing twice as fast as the rest of the plants in there.

Besides those things all the others are doing fine and well.
Ok, pics one is just the long shot of a few of the plants.
2nd is a top shot of one which is looking very nice.
3rd is a shot of tie job, i just use yarn and thumb tacks. Yes, I use detergent containers also for pots.
4th is a side side shot.
and the last one is a top shot of the same 8 in the 1st pic. Of the 4 pots you the top left one is the retarded plant if you zoom in you can kind of see the growth.

Feel free to comment or ask questions, ill try to update weekly with pics. Thanks guys.

I guess I'm not sure what you are trying to accompish by tying the plants to the sides of the pot.....

really u dont know? it keeps the short its kinda like LST just not to the extent of tying
them around the pot... which actually when done right looks bad ass... u have a plant
wrapped around the edge of the pot with like ten new colas shooting up....

i was told to tie mine to the side by my buddy's dad (old grower from the 70's 80's)

From what i have read up on, I would like to think that its a form of LST Weedhound. It is my first time trying this method. I did read up quite a bit on it. If anyone has any suggestions post em. I would like to recieve some feedback.

When I transplanted one of my plants It ended up being really close to the edge like that so I tied it to the side for extra support. Seems to work fine

the lights
the plant aqua ones aren't the right spectrum
cool blue is what u want for veg
kitchen bath is the bulb u want for flower
if u use flow tubes
cfls u will also need cool blue at wally world it says 6700k on the side of the pack
great value is the brand u want for flowering they are 2700k i believe or 2300k
cant remember exactly either way its red enough for flowering
if u have any more questions ask

Word man, i did use the 4 GE bulbs for a previous grow and they worked very well, i was surprised. I got the ecolux @ menard's and they seem fine also. I am actually surprised, there isnt much selections around here for lights.

Ventaltion is a lil issue i have a window to pull fresh air through, but right now we are having temps in the neg. range(this mornign it was -5 and -12 windchill) so i open it up once a day for awhile to pull fresh air in.

My main concern is the Humidity is so low 30-35% range. I need to get a humidifier soon.

Do you think this will affect them that much w/ such low humidity??

OK just a few updated pics. You can see the insulation i used. It bubble wrap and white on the other side, i used it at my farm and had left overs, works good tho.

1st- a shot of my room, you can see my tray and water, the fan is right in front of the window although its covered.
2nd- A shot of the LST that i am doing, this is by far the plant i have.
3rd- Another shot you can see how the stem is bent. very nice.
4th- Is side shot so you can see how low they are staying.
5th- this is my breakfast that i had this morning, yum. and my toe.

yummy breakfast, lol! that is the version of LST i do too. after once or twice though you will learn to plant the plant to one side or the other of the pot so you can get a longer arch and more side shoots. looks good.
