I came across this little 29"x23"x60" cabinet and decided to use it. The guy i got it from just gave it to me :D. I got the light from my local hydroponic store for about $100 (b/c it was used..). I'm just using pro-mix with added perlite and plant-tone. I'm using GH Biobizz and Flora nova w/ hydrozyme, liquid karma, molasses, superthrive. I Have three different strains... One is some kind of skunk... The big one is from some fire dank/headies that a friend of mine found. They are 3 different seeds that i found in headies bud so we will see which is dankest. The last picture is of my cheap aeroponic cloner. That thing cost me maybe $12... and it works great, Only takes about 5-7 days.

I haven't had a chance to get any new pictures but i should be able to get some up tomorrow. I added 2 more 6500k CFLS to the setup and it is doing really well. I trained the fuck out of the one flowering plant and it is about a week and a half into flowering. It is looking perfect, it has 10 top buds and plenty of room for the roots. I am in love with this cabinet i just wish i had a stronger light to put in it. Also ventialtion is an issue I need a good quiet inline fan... but im poor at the moment. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow... Peace

I finally got a chance to snap a few pics of the cab.
The big one is about 2 weeks into flowering and is in full stretch. This little one is my "headies" plant... Its is cool because I know it is really good and potent but i have no idea what kind of high it is... so its suspenseful...

Thanks... I need to get a update. I just bought a 3x3x6 hydrohut and i'm using my 600 watt HPS as well. So now.. Im running a 600w HPS, A 150w HPS with 4 2-foot T-5's, and about 100w's of CFL's. I also got some new foxfarm nutrients. And so far they are showing to be much better than most nutrients I've used. Its concentrated and its not thick like molasses. I'll try to get some more pictures soon.
BTW those fans are cool as long as you keep them close... They are kinda weak... But they are like 4.95 at walmart.

I will be harvesting the first plant in about a week... And it is beautiful... The top colas are turning in to fat little corndogs and they sparkle with frosty resin. I have been trying to get pics but i lost my battery charger for my phone. I can't Wait to smoke some of my own (fictional) buds again..

Unfortunately i wasn't able to get pictures of the last harvest.... but she dryed out to approx. 50g. She is cured now and smokes great. Has that organic smell to it and has a smooth sweetness to the smoke. Turned out good but the total yeild was rather small, I could have let it go for another week. But this other strain im working with is amazing! It smells like sweet pungent orange.... Now that it is starting to get to that ripening stage it have a kind of rotten orange smell to it. This will be some flavorful nugs....
Also i am flowering the mother dank plant and a little dank clone. As soon as i can get a rooted cutting i am going to start doing hydroponics with the orange strain. I also got some power skunk and pot o' gold from a friend of mine, hopefully those will be some fire stuff...

Nice! Can your Hut be locked up? I would like to get one for the ease of not having to build a cab, but I would want a lock.

Cheers:thumbsup:

Buy one of those locks you use for your luggage on the zipper handle things. Problem solved.

Nice, I've tried some pot of gold that was grown in the carolinas and I loved it, just to put that out there.

Earthy,

One more question on the Hut. Does it have the Velcro vents on the side and cal they also be locked up with a small luggage lock? I need this thing totally secure. If I plan on getting the Hut I am going to place a photo booth logo made from a computerized sowing machine on the front. I am a photographer so it is the perfect cover. If i cant lock this up all the way then I will get crafty and built a shack using 3/4 partical board.

Thanks for the help!

Cheers

Yeah i can't wait to switch to organic hydro.... im using the fox farm nutes and i have heard great things about them. I plan on using 5 gallon buckets... What would be the best air pump to get? I have a few like 25 gal air pumps but i was thinking of getting a 300 gal with a gang valve... whould this be good?

It has velcro straps on most of it expect for the intake holes on the bottom. Your only problem is that light leaks a little bit from those intakes so it will be a very bright photo booth. And to close it, it has a zipper so you could lock the zippers together. Make sure you have good ventilation if you use it. i have a 600w HPS with a 325CFM fan and it does great... temps stay around 75-85*F.

Earthy Dank,
This is the type pump I use...40gal..and I can run 4 containers off it...The round air stones I bought at Petsmar* as well..they come in different sizes...

Give it a go...

Experiment and try what will work for you...You'll know whats best...

Thanks for the help Earthy. Photo booths cannot leak light as you know so I think I will build one. I have a 600 watt HPS and a new 6 inch inline that I am not sure about. its past 270 cfm though.

That is the exact airstones i got, i got the 5 inch ones and they work great. Those other ones clog easily and break. I saw at pet smart they have bigger air pumps and im thinking that would be better seeing as how it would make more bubbles. Has anyone tried the flexible air hoses... Those seem pretty cool, Do they make more smaller bubbles?

Today is the orange's 6th week of flowering. I esimate she'll finish around 8 or 9 weeks so I should be harvesting around 4/20. That will be fun... but we'll have to wait until may to try it out though. By then i should have some "Pot o' Gold" and some "power Skunk" clones ready for flowering. Anyone ever tried either of these strains? I wonder how they will compare to the "orange".

Heres the setup for the DWC/Drip System in going to be using. It seems to work great The only problem is i want them to have more bubbles. I am using 25 gal. airpumps and they work alright... But i've heard with DWC the more small bubbles the better.

Hey,
Yeah, those are the best..I have all the sizes...used one in a storage bin grow once...worked great...lots of bubbles...I can run 4 off a 40gal pump...and I control valve each plants air supply..easier to balance it out for me...whats nice about it is I can just unhook from the air and take the can right out of the closet..

That setup should work fine, I opted for the super simple no water pump, just the air..KISS..is my motto!!!
But it will be fine without a doubt...and most advised in most texts..
Your call..

You know what you are doing...Take the plunge..:D

Peace,

Who all here smoked... or vapes.. with a vaporizer? I just snapped a few pics of my heat gun vape. Anyone else have one like this? I personally this it is as good as a volcano. it isn't as easy to hit but its faster and stronger if you know what you're doing. And its digital and can do from 250*f - 1350*F. I find 350 is the best anything too high with either make it burn or taste like overcooked popcorn.

Oh yeah.. I had to harvest the "Rotten Orange" because of a sudden mite attack. I checked its leaves every day didn't see anything... Then there was a few days where it got hot (89-95) and they didn't get water for like a day and a half and make a week after that Spidermites had basically killed the one plant. I couldn't find a single mite on the other plants that were right beside it. I think the orange wasn't getting watered right and the temps were alittle to dynamic which lowered the plants immunity the the spidermites. If I were doing hydro I don't think i would have had this problem. Growing with organics and soil has the disadvantage of harboring insects better and being harder to keep an even moisture if you can only check on them once evey other day. But anyway... The rotten orange got its name because thats exactly what it smells like. And even though its about 10 days early it still turned out really good. The buds are really compact for a premature plant... I could only image... Next time(month) I will be putting a couple clones in that drip/dwc. I can't wait to watch them explode with Citrusy buds.

Has anyone ever grown... Pot o' Gold, Skunk #5 or Trainwreck? I got some free seeds from a hippie friend and i want know more about them. I know P.O.G is from "the flying dutchman" and is one of their top strains. If i'n not mistaken i think SK#5 is a high yeilding sativa dominate landrace strain right? It is only 6 days old... and it smells just like skunk... amazing.. Their were supposed to be 2 or 3 Trainwreak seeds but all the seedlings so far look identical. I still have 5 of the 10 SK#5/TW so I should be able to get a good mother of each. The biggest ones are "rotten Orange". I looooove this strain... Grows EXTREMELY dense with fat musky citrus colas and a beautiful sativa dominate high that leaves you sublime yet motivated. Its only downside is that it seems sensitive to spidermites...

2nd pic: SK#5

Due to a bad spidermite infrestion i have quit growing inside. I Havn't been able to visit the room enough and the guy who was helping me wasn't really able to keep them watered/feed/sprayed so the plants were really suffering. I harvested a plant about a week ago but it was stressed to the point of hermaphritism and Probably pollenated the other suffering plants. I couldn't visit this room because it was about 45minutes away... at 3.80 a gal... thats like $10-$15 round trip... and im broke. So i put the rest outside and took down my setup. Its kinda sad but... there's always outdoor... I think im might actually try to grow some legitimate plants for awhile and work with some hydroponic peppers/tomatoes.
