microgrow. thinking about 12/12

alright, this is my first successful (so far) grow opp. and im two days short of a month into it from seed (purple kush). It seems like it's growing pretty damn slow, but that could be the lack of air circulation/low light because its in a tiny box with a pretty tiny cfl in it. now my questions: 1. when should i start 12/12 if im trying to keep this plant in a box with no more than 2 ft of verticle space? 2. Should i use a light more in the red spectrum for 12/12 (i heard flowering uses red, veg. is blue.). 3. how do they look in general for 28 days? 4. should i bother FIMing in such a small space?
and 5. im not sure exactly how to tell when it goes from seedling to vegetative, so could anyone tell me about where im at with that and when to start some nutes?

Yes, for flowering you will want a red spectrum light. At least wait on the 12/12 until you get some reds in there. I would flower when they are a little bit bigger, Since you are still in veg you can LST or maybe even SCROG if you are dealing with height issues. Your plant isn't a seedling anymore =] I wouldn't give it any nutes for awhile though, at least maybe till you are flowering. Keep us updated :jointsmile:

alright, im havin some problems. check out the pictures. just the two bottom sets of leaves are yellow right now. the bottom two are getting dry at the tips. i havent given them nutes yet unfortunatly could this be the cause? i havent let it go more than 5 days or so without water, and i give it enough. wont show recovery symptoms when i water it either.
