Anybody watch the South Carolina debates? They asked him and pressured him for a straight answer regarding his feelings on 9-11. He stated that he believes that there was NO CONSPIRACY as preached by the Truth Seekers and that they are hurting his campaign by preaching this nonsense.

"Ron Paul speaks the truth"....."Ron Paul is the next savior of our country".....All of the lil' statements I've seen in here regarding Ron. IF you really believe this then you'll also believe that this intelligent man has stated the "truth" once again. The 9-11 conspiracy as stated by the Truth Seekers and Alex Jones is BULLSHIT!!

I would imagine that Alex Jones won't have the balls to take arms against Ron Paul as he does with anyone else that uses their head for something more than a hat rack!

I actually thought that Mr. Paul handled himself fairly well in the debate- he covers his crazy well.

I gotta admit, I'm looking forward to the Republican convention- My bet is that Huckabee, Romney, and McCain are each holding about 30% of the electoral votes going into convention- no majority, and Mr. Paul's supporter's ( I'm thinking that RP pulls about 7%, and then there's Guliani w/ maybe 2%) actually end up picking the nominee for the R party.

It'll be a freakin' meltdown...

As much as I think that Alex Jones is a sensationalist, I think a little conspiracy theory here and there is good. Makes life interesting.

Personally, I don't think what the U.S. government told us happened is what actually happened. I don't know why they lied, but it is my belief that they lied to the American public about what really happened. That's about as concrete belief as I can make about 9/11, from there it becomes much to hazy.

I always have believed he spoke the truth as he sees it and I don't subscribe to the truther's version of events, so this isn't even a factor with me. Of course, I'm glad to see Paul had the chance to state in no uncertain terms his stance, so that should shut the folks up trying to link him...What am I saying? That will never happen. :p

I don't think anyone can argue with that.

I personally try to base my beliefs on fact, not what others believe. People often state
their beliefs as fact, this does not make them fact though. People often here things stated by
trusted people and consider them to be facts.
"Ron Paul speaks the truth"....."Ron Paul is the next savior of our country".....All of the lil' statements I've seen in here regarding Ron. IF you really believe this then you'll also believe that this intelligent man has stated the "truth" once again.
This is often not the case, this is how conspiracies and cover-ups work. State something long enough and people will begin to believe it is fact.
People need to look into things for themselves, and not be led blindly down any path.
If you have looked into the information available on the 911 attacks I'm sure you have formed
some type of informed decision on the events. Calling something BS is fine, if you have taken the
time to research it. Calling something BS because someone you trust, said it is, is a totally
different thing all together.

Ron Paul has some really good ideas. A person can trust in a lot of what he says. He said
he believes there is no 911 conspiracy. This is a belief not a fact, the facts you need to find for yourself.

Alex Jones is a little radical for my taste.
FACT: July 2001 he did predict terrorist attacks and site Government involvement.
In July 2001, Alex Jones Warned of Globalist Plan to Use Bin Laden to Attack America (http://www.prisonplanet.tv/articles/august2004/082604alexwarned.htm)
FACT: September 11th terrorist attacks did occur, similar to what he described.

BELIEF: Architects and engineers would have the best knowledge on what would bring down
a building.
REASON: 25 years I have been in the construction industry. I rely often on
the judgment of structural engineers and architects. They know how to build a building that
will withstand all types of stress, natural or not.

Watch this Richard Gage, AIA, Architect - "How The Towers Fell" - Complete 2 Hour Presentation | 911Blogger.com (http://www.911blogger.com/node/10025) then let me know if its BS also.

In short I am still seeking the truth. There is a lot of information to look through. Some is fact and some is BS, unless you look for yourself you will never know the truth. You will believe what people want you to know.
FACT OR FICTION

CAMERON: Congressman Paul, many of your supporters call themselves 9/11 Troofers. They believe that the U.S. government was in some way complicit with the 9/11 attacks or covered it up.

Are you tonight prepared to either embrace that rhetoric or ask those supporters to abandon it, or divorce themselves from your candidacy?

PAUL: Well, I can't tell people what to do, but I've abandoned those viewpoints. I don't believe that, and that's the only thing that is important. And so I don't endorse anything they say.

But I would like to take an opportunity to talk about the issue that we've been debating here for the last 20 minutes...

CAMERON: Sir, would you ask them to cease that rhetoric tonight on your behalf?

PAUL: Well, it doesn't do me any good, so if they care about me, they should. But the only thing I have control over is what I believe and what I say. I can't tell them what to do. So I don't endorse what they say and I don't believe that, so, please, could I participate in the current debate rather than picking (ph) this out.

There are some in here that are hard and steady Ron Paul supporters but also our largest posters about the 9-11 conspiracy. Likewise, his largest supporting group on the net are the conspiracy sites.

"so if they care about me, they should"....We're gonna find out where you fans really stand.:D

Do you have any information to back this statement up? I am not challenging you're statement I am just curious where you received this information.

Just observation I guess.....look at any of the "conspiracy sites" and find me one that doesn't have a Ron Paul banner for donations.

Maybe is cause people who are 9/11 "truthers" are some of the most free thinking people, thus they would want to vote for someone who is also a free thinker that looks at facts and REASON before making a decision.

I sure would use facts and reason if i was a president.... infact thats some of the only tools you need.

According to Ron Paul, the "truthers" must not care about him.

I think the question and response was more geared towards the Alex Jones style "journalists" and their followers including the Truth seekers.

I don't agree with 9/11 truthers but they do bring some good points up about the issue. The heart of the truther message is that government is too overpowering and secretive to its people. Ron Paul's appeal has nothing to do with 9/11 truth, but instead truth itself. Show me one other candidate running that has a solid 30 year voting record like that of Ron Paul's. Why don't truthers support Hillary? Or Obama? Simple answer is they are all LIER'S! You can bet that if Ron was president during the events of 9/11, that he would have taken questions from congress UNDER OATH and not have hesitated to open an investigation in the first place.

One thing that Libertarians share with truthers is the fact that government has shown a blatant disregard for the constitution. We elect people who do not read what they vote on (Patriot Act). We elect people who flipflop on their stances (Bush in 2000 ran on NO nation building and a peaceful foreign policy). Government is so out of touch with its people that it can make "conspiracies" seem that much more likely.

Why not ask Obama to denounce any cocaine users supporting him? Or how about asking Hilary to denounce the feminist vote? People goto the message they like not the other way around.

admitting that he thought there was a conspiracy would be political suicide.
